Our client is one of the major role players in the pome fruit industry, situated in Grabouw. As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the management of the following company benefits: provident fund, medical aid, and loans, as well as processing of the salary payroll. The purpose of the position is to give strategic direction and manage the daily operations of the Payroll Department. Key performance areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): Payroll Administration and Management Salary Administration Overseeing Wages Payroll Processing Payroll Reconciliation Payroll System Management Benefit administration (provident fund, medical aid, loans) Maintenance of payroll guidelines, procedures, and policies Budget and benchmarking preparation Team management Key relationship management Minimum requirements: Tertiary qualification in HR, Payroll or Finance 3 to 5 years' prior work experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator Previous experience in a pack house or similar environment advantageous Good knowledge of payroll systems is essential Excel and Word at intermediate to advanced level Knowledge of labour legislation essential Knowledge of Time & Attendance systems Knowledge of Sage People 300 Well-developed organisational skills Ability to manage and motivate a team Well- developed problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Attentive to detail Deadline driven Able to effectively communicate with others at all levels By Submitting your information and application you hereby confirm: That you have read and understood our Privacy Policy ( www.hopcal.co.za ).
