Senior Programme/Project Manager - Johannesburg

As a Senior Program Manager at +Onex, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex programs from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of program management in financial sector, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines, and develop comprehensive project plans to guide the execution process.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to meet project requirements and milestones.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively, implementing contingency plans as needed to keep programs on track.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics, evaluating progress against goals and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program management processes and enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to program management, and incorporate insights into project strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in [relevant field]; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum [X] years) in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
