I am recruiting for a Senior Python Developer for a Software Development company that has been in business for over 40 years. They have expanded into different markets over the years and are currently focussed on moving into Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. In your role as a Python Application Developer, your proficiency in Python, containerisation technologies, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and MSSQL will be essential for various tasks including system development, data analysis, and other initiatives. You will be a member of a collaborative team in charge of the entire software development lifecycle—from coding and testing through to deployment and monitoring. Your responsibilities will encompass the construction and maintenance of web applications, APIs, and data analytics solutions. The responsibilities of the position include: Write effective, scalable code Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance Integrate user-facing elements into applications Test and debug programs Improve functionality of existing systems Implement security and data protection solutions Assess and prioritize feature requests Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines for data loading and transformation. Construct modular components for ETL pipelines to enhance reusability. Develop secure and efficient data lakes and warehouses. Build intuitive dashboards for non-technical users to extract insights. Completed BSc Computer, BCom IT, BSc Electrical Engineering or similar degree Min 4 years' experience as a Python Application Developer C# Development will be an advantage R750 000 - R900 000
