About the Position As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be part of a team that ensures the quality delivery of software in support of day-to-day operations for SubjectWell. You will serve as a subject matter expert in testing our applications, delivering new features and functionality to our end users, and constantly striving to promote quality across the entire Engineering team. Additionally, you will leverage your experience and expertise in quality engineering to help mentor more junior members of the team in process, documentation, and test automation. Responsibilities Lead manual testing efforts in support of our releases. Create and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress. Estimate and prioritize all manual and automated testing activities. Manage and deploy builds on test environments for testing releases prior to production deployments. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases/scripts in TestRail. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and clarify system requirements. Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. Foster the professional development of junior QA engineers by imparting hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and documentation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance methodologies and industry standards. Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies. Qualifications 5 years of quality engineering experience delivering web services software. 5 years of API testing with Postman or similar tools. 5 years of test automation experience with tools such as Cypress, TestCafe, or Playwright. Intermediate Javascript/Typescript skills. Intermediate SQL skills. Experience with source code management and version control tools like Git, Github, SVN, or Bitbucket. Experience working with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, CircleCI, or Bamboo. Basic understanding of cloud computing environments. Nice-to-haves 7 years of quality engineering experience, including a proven track record of building UI automation. Previous experience with Ruby-on-Rails, vue.js, and/or MySQL. Experience in performance testing with k6, Jmeter, or LoadRunner.
