Reference: NFR003603-CAY-1 A highly innovative organization in the capital market industry is looking for a Senior Quantitative Business Analyst to join their team in Rosebank, Gauteng. A fantastic opportunity to join a team of vastly qualified individuals who have designed leading edge blockchain technology in the bid to simplify the global capital market infrastructure. As a Senior Quantitative Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading a team towards identifying financial risks and preventing them. Duties and responsibilities include: Financial risk Management Creating process models using charts and illustrations to guide the product development team. Collaborating with project sponsors. Facilitating product research tasks. Managing financial models Applying advanced statistical predictive modelling Guiding and delegating tasks to new and junior staff members Requirements: BSc or MSc in Mathematics, statistics, applied mathematics, actuarial science, finance, engineering, or physics. Post gradate qualification in CFA/FRM advantageous. 3 – 5 years of experience in quantitative research. Experience in coding n R/Python/MATLAB in financial services. Extensive knowledge of the financial market including interest bearing, fixed income, BPMN and UML. Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communications skills.
