Reference: DUR003049-LC-1 Westville. Senior Tax Consultant required to join accounting and financial services firm who understands customers needs and provide them with a world class service underpinned by extensive knowledge of the South African accounting and business environment. BCom Degree with at least 3-5 years experience in tax is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for a set portfolio of clients with duties including preparation of income tax returns (companies, trusts, individuals, tax exempt institutions), provisional tax submissions and calculations, handling of tax audits, DTR01 and DTR02 forms, submissions of objections and appeals, dealings with SARS and clients on all tax related queries that may arise, customs onboarding on RLA system, VAT and PAYE applications, and Tax Clearance Applications - good standing and foreign investment. Requirements: BCom Degree Postgraduate Degree in Taxation would be an advantage At least 3-5 years experience in tax Good computer skills (tax system used is Greatsoft) Deadline driven with excellent time management skills Must be capable of working under pressure while producing high quality work and meeting deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated and proactive Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask (ability to manage various tasks / projects simultaneously) Must show initiative and ambition Apply: recruitersandicrowther.co.za R 30 000
