Knowledge of the "rock drill industry" will be an advantage. Matric and relevant qualificationMinimum of 5 - 8 years mining sales experience is required to include knowledge and experience of mechanical parts This individual will need to increase sales to current customers, win back sales with lost customers and win over new mining customers locally and cross borderYou will establish and head up the entire Sales Department (Sales is currently handled by GM and FM)Individual must have current mining industry sales experience.Relationships at Sibanye, Harmony, Anglo and Impala will be beneficialSales management or sales supervisory experience will secureKnowledge of the "rock drill industry" will be an advantage.There is great potential for growth in years to comeOnce sales have grown, you will eventually hire and manage the sales team below you.Initially a very hands on position, with a lot of face time with current mining customersTravel kms range between 5 and 8 000 kms per monthInitially local travel only - but the possibility of cross border travel in the future (with plans to expand into Africa)Revisit all previous and older Local Mining house customers to reignite the relationship with them and win back salesOnly weekly feedback meetings with management, not only with customer's status updates but also solutions on how to improve and grow with current product range and possibly new products tooBasic salaryCompany vehicle providedCompany fuel, laptop and cell phone provided Initial commission with current customers servicedAttractive commission structure thereafterCandidate will need to build a Customer Matrix, and entire Sales department structure, to be geared for future growth when Salesmen are employed to report into this positionDriven individual who is passionate about the business, its products and its facilities and services Candidate with mechanical and hand-on experience, who has moved up the ranks into a sales position due to his knowledge and expertise, will also be consideredWe are a small company with lots of growth potential as foreign shareholders are wanting to increase their foot print in SA and then into Africa Monthly plus Basic salary, company bakkie, Life And Disability, Laptop Apply Now
