A prominent Wealth Management firm is seeking an experienced Wealth and Investment Manager to join their team and cater to the needs of an established portfolio of sophisticated and complex high-net-worth “HNW” clients. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of investment and wealth management, investment strategies, offshore and local structuring, and financial planning, coupled with superb interpersonal and communication skills. This is more a “farmer” than a “hunter” role, as the focus is on managing the existing portfolio of clients and not on seeking new clients, but it would be preferred if the candidate has the personality to expand into more of a “hunter” role in future. The incumbent would also manage two junior team members. Key to this role is a passion for investments coupled with a client-centric mindset. The successful incumbent will amongst others be responsible for: Client Relationship Management Collaboration with Tax Advisors, Fiduciary Specialists, and Other External Providers Performance Reporting Task Management for Onshore and Offshore Structuring Investment Advisory Portfolio Management Market Research and Analysis Risk Management Financial Planning Digesting Market Research and Analysis B.Com, BBusSci or related degree CFA Charter holder (strongly preferred) / Certified Financial Planner (CFP) FAIS Compliant. Proven experience as a Wealth and Investment Manager with a focus on HNW clients. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, structuring and wealth management strategies. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compliance-oriented mindset and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
