Minimum 10 years’ experience in trade Drivers licence Code 8 Physically able Ability to operate panel saw, Rip saw, Timber Thicknesser, Surface planer, Spindle and Cutter moulds and Edge Bander. Operating workshop power tools and a range of hand tools. Ability to manufacture bespoke joinery and cabinetry from start to finish with a knowledge of cabinetry fittings and iron mongery. Must be able to read drawings, plans and cutting lists ensuring accurate processing of materials. General upkeep, maintenance and care of machinery. Must be willing to work overtime when required. Ability to instruct and supervise staff with management qualities. Being responsible for manufacturing a project from start to finish. Maintain a clean and tidy workshop. Be able to understand the importance of safety regulations. Excellent attention to detail with high level quality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without supervision. Ability to multitask. Good fitting and installation knowledge. Good problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic with a “can-do” approach.
