Service Technician - - Midrand

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of pumps and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Perform installations and commissioning of pump systems according to specifications.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports and documentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in the pumps and machinery industry.
Strong knowledge of pump systems, including centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and related equipment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Relevant technical certifications or training are highly desirable.
