Our client has an opportunity for a Service Technician who will be responsible for on-site installations, repairs and troubleshooting units. The Service Technician is a vital link to the sales department in providing sales lead opportunities and/or feedback based on customer usage, change in business needs and other areas of Technical Services focus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Extensive understanding of compressed air and vacuum units, solutions and services
Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness to all business needs
Ability to work well with little supervision
Responsible for responding to service calls
Ensures high-level customer satisfaction by providing end-user training on implemented solutions and advising customers on preventative maintenance procedures and configurations that may impact product performance
Obtain the expertise and knowledge on units and solution training specific to the companys needs
Interface and train less experienced service technicians
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and experience essential
Good communication and people skills
Must work well under pressure
Must follow all company policies and procedures
Must have a valid Drivers License and passport
Must be innovative and self-reliant and contribute to the effectiveness of the company
Compliant with Company/Clients policies on Safety and behavioral standards
Required to travel locally and internationally.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Investigate complaints
Provide technical support to the sales team
Share own knowledge to enable colleagues to expand their knowledge
Ensure that information supplied to Administration is correct
Housekeeping of vehicle must be up to standard
Ensure fitting tool box is fully stocked at all times
