We currently have the above position available at our flexible packaging printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration. The incumbent, reporting to the Conversion Supervisor, will be responsible for setting up jobs according to customer specifications Ensure that all machines are running and quality is of a high standard Set up jobs Ensure that all bag sizes are according to the works ticket specifications Ensure that the working area is free of hazardous matter, which could potential hurt someone Ensure code of good practise Ensure productivity and efficiency Ensure that all Bag Operators have the correct work tickets for the specific jobs Ensure reels are pre-positioned behind all machines Knowledge of Karlville pouch maker machinery beneficial Good visual perception and colour vision Attention to detail Good written and verbal skills Good problem-solving, planning and organising skills Good numeracy and literacy acumen Willing to work shifts Enthusiastic and eager team-player Knowledge of BRC Grade 12 Minimum 3 years in a Production environment 1-3 years within Flexible Packaging environment (bag machine setter)
