Hire Resolve's client in the Construction Industry is seeking the expertise of a SHE Officer in Cape Town. This role demands a vigilant and proactive approach to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are not only met but exceeded Responsibilities: Monitoring and auditing contractor safety performances. Implementing Health and Safety in a construction environment. Ensuring compliance with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 14001, and ISO 9001. Overseeing the overall responsibility and compliance of the Company's Health & Safety, making sure staff are aware and follow safety protocol. Conducting and organizing relevant health and safety training for staff. Conducting risk assessments in line with legislation and maintaining records. Investigating accidents and near-misses, recording findings. Compiling and managing traffic management plans and routine checks. Requirements Relevant Diploma in Health and Safety Management/SAMTRAC or NEBOSH Certificate. Professional registration as a Construction Safety Officer with SACPCMP. First Aid Level 2 Basic Certificate. Basic Fire Fighting certification. Experience with Environmental Training. Valid driver's license with own vehicle. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Previous multi-site experience is preferred. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
