Our client, a well established steel fabrication, piping and hydraulics project company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced SHEQ Coordinator, with a solid background in monitoring, maintaining and improving ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems, to join their team in Cape Town. Please note that our ideal candidate will be based in Cape Town, be SACPCMP registered and have a background in steel fabrication and structural steel structure installations. KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION You will have a Matric, coupled with a Diploma in Safety such as SAMTRAC or NEBOSH, plus at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience, and a knowledge of ISO 45001/ISO 9001 within a steel work environment. You will have a strong background in management of rigging projects, coupled with managing HSE in the flammable store, ensuring quality management systems are adhered to and management in safety aspects such as security. You must have knowledge of safety policies and procedures, excellent Incident Investigation skills, excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills, as well as training and facilitation management You must be analytical and have outstanding probability and decision-making skills with an attention to detail and high level of accuracy. You must have effective organisational skills, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
