SHIFT MILLWRIGHTS (HEAVY ENGINEERING) - Witbank
Duties:
- Attend to breakdowns and perform inspections on a 24 hrs basis to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.
- Testing and inspecting equipment, ensuring safe operation.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment such as:
- Pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic and grease systems and,
- Chain drives, drive shafts, fans, gearboxes, and conveyor belt systems.
- Adhere to SHEQ systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Trade tested Millwright with minimum Matric or N3 or equivalent,
- 5 years post trade experience gained in a heavy engineering (steel, mining, etc.).
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, applicable acts/regulations/standards, and guidelines
- Maintenance/project planning, management, and execution,
- Prepared to work at heights or confined spaces,
- Flexible and willing to work shifts and overtime,
- Must be in possession of a valid drivers license.
