Job Title: Shift Supervisor Location: Durban, South Africa Industry: Chemicals RPO Recruitment's client, in the chemicals industry, are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their team, in Durban, and oversee daily operations in their facility. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate activities of production operators on a specific shift Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards Train and mentor production operators on proper procedures and safety protocols Troubleshoot equipment and processes to minimize downtime and optimize production output Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and plant management teams to improve production processes Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and compliance Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role Strong knowledge of chemical production processes and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a chemical manufacturing setting RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
