Short-Term Insurance Administrator - Centurion

Purpose of the role: The primary objective of the Short-Term Insurance Administrator is to provide essential assistance in the administration of underwriting queries and claims, along with ensuring compliance documentation is accurately maintained. This role plays a crucial part in the smooth functioning of the insurance operations, contributing to efficient customer service and regulatory adherence.

Duties/Responsibilities: Underwriting Assistance: Review insurance applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Assist in assessing risks associated with insurance applications. Liaise with underwriters to clarify information or request additional documentation if required. Maintain records of underwriting decisions and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Claims Handling: Receive and process short-term insurance claims in accordance with company policies and procedures. Investigate claims by gathering necessary information from claimants, policyholders, and other relevant parties. Evaluate claim validity and coverage, determining appropriate settlements. Communicate with claimants and stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and resolve any queries or issues.

Compliance Documentation Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate documentation. Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance reports as necessary. Keep abreast of changes in short-term insurance regulations and update internal processes accordingly. Collaborate with compliance officers to address any compliancerelated concerns or inquiries.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the short-term insurance team as needed. Maintain organized records of insurance policies, claims, and underwriting decisions. Assist in the preparation of insurance-related documents such as policies, endorsements, and certificates.

QUALIFICATIONS Essential: RE5, industry related qualifications Desirable:

EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years industry experience
