Single Facer Operator We have an exciting opportunity for a Single Facer Operator based in Western Cape. About the Role: As a Single Facer Operator, you'll be the linchpin of our operations, working with cutting-edge technology to produce top-quality board. Your role is to ensure the safe and efficient running of the single facer machine, adhering to the highest standards, operational guidelines, and our company's ethos. What You'll Be Doing: Plan Mastery: You'll be the conductor of the production symphony, checking and executing the run plan with meticulous attention to detail. Quality Guardian: Defects won't escape your watchful eye. Reporting any discrepancies to your Team Leader will be second nature. Optimized Performance: The hum of the single facer machine will be music to your ears as you ensure it operates at peak performance, meeting and exceeding targets. Team Collaboration: Effective communication with your teammates will be vital to keeping operations seamless and productive. Moisture Management: You'll master the art of moisture checking, a key ingredient in maintaining the quality of our products. Downtime Dynamo: The enemy of efficiency, downtime and paper breaks will be in your crosshairs as you work to eliminate them. Glue Unit Guru: You'll be the glue that keeps everything together, ensuring the optimal positioning of the glue unit. Workspace Wizardry: Adherence to the 5S principles will be your mantra as you maintain an organized and efficient workspace. What You'll Need: Clear Communicator: Fluent English communication is a must, along with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with your team. Flexibility: Your dedication knows no bounds, as you're open to working weekends, overtime, and flexible hours. Proactive & Punctual: You're not just a team member; you're a proactive force, always punctual and ready to contribute. Expertise & Experience: With a Matric Certificate, basic mathematical skills, and over five years' experience in the corrugated industry, you're a true veteran.
