RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure the scope of works is carried out in accordance with the project specifications, construction programme and budget Liaise with the Employer’s Agent for day to day activities (site requests and instructions) Plan, manage, delegate tasks and coordinate day to day activities on site Manage construction activities with site staff and labour Manage quality control on site Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the approved OH&S Plan and OH&S Act & Regulations Manage subcontractors and SMMES on site Attend all site related meetings/audits Compiling of monthly payment certificates for approval Compiling of monthly meeting and management reports Compiling of monthly productivity reports Completing daily site diary Qualification/requirements advantageous: National Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering NQF 5 – Labour Intensive Construction Processes (NQF LIC 5) SACPCMP registration – PrCM will be highly advantageous 5 years experience Proven track record Valid drivers license No criminal record Experienced in civil construction – Concrete, roadworks and or pipelines
