Our client is currently looking for a Site Engineer or Construction Project Manager to be based in either Newcastle or Ladysmith in KZN for a period of about 18 months. Experience: BTech in Construction Management or something similar At least 5 years experience, having dealt with construction projects, be they in residential, health, or other sectors. Reporting to our QS, so the candidates experience in construction management is more important than their professional qualifications. Ideally you will be a resident in Newcastle (first prize) as the project is in Newcastle, as you will be on the construction site there full-time daily for the duration of the construction. Second prize would be someone resident close-by like Ladysmith, where travel to Newcastle is relatively easy.
