Opportunity for experienced Site Manager with a Boilermaker Trade Test and mining industry experience to join a well-established firm in Rustenburg area Minimum requirements: Matric. Valid Boilermaker trade test with statement of results. (Section 13 trade certificate or Section 26d with relevant modules/statement of results.) Must be medically fit. 5 years’ experience or more in the plant environment will be advantageous. Legal liability for supervisors/managers. POLC certificate or Project Construction Management certificate. Strategic management. Maintain proper utilisation of both equipment and people reporting to person. Primary component supply and capabilities are Structural Steel Manufacturing. Platework Fabrication. Mechanical Support Fabrication. Pressure Vessels and Pressure Piping Fabrication. Pipe and Fitting Fabrication, Mild/Carbon/Stainless Steel. Hardwearing Plates. HDPE Piping & Fittings. SMPP Turnkey Project work including civils. Green & Brownfields Work. Furnace Steelwork, fabrication and Installation. (fabrication and installation) Fibre and Galvanised Grating. Corrosion Protection to customer specifications. Duties will include but is not limited to: The operational management of the site responsible & accountable for execution of work as per work orders/Site Instructions/Purchase orders. Preparation and submissions of all Claim related documents for Certification and invoicing in a timeous and accurate manner. Financial planning and reporting of Site progress/Labour cost vs labour budgets. Accurate Calculations of mass of structural steelwork salvaged or stripped. Systems and process management. Site Legals – Ensure that all legal appointments are signed and up to date. Liaising with drawing office to issue drawing for existing & new applications. Legal compliance – Enforce adherence to all SHEQ procedural compliance. Set up of planning (task durations, limitation & execution availability). Planning of required site/project resources – manpower/tools/materials/equipment. Manage internal ordering system of the site. Ensure correct and accurate measurements for quote purposes. Client and Mine Communication with Engineers/Foreman/Managers (twice per week & with foreman daily). Attend and chair daily Toolbox talk meetings. Attend weekly progress meetings and by-weekly OPS meeting. Annual ‘’Client’’ budget Management. Ensure adherence/compliance to Company policies and procedures. Conduct interviews with HR.
