As a highly experienced and well-respected Site Manager in the industry, you know that every process on site goes through you. You are responsible for ensuring that all activities comply with QHSE regulations, run according to the project timeline, and are all in budget . RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfil Construction Regulation 8.1 appointment requirements Review and approve/sign RAMS as needed Manage site activities during project preparation, including roads, laydown areas, and crane assembly Ensure project documentation availability and readiness Provide weekly Project Operational Plan updates Manage Suppliers/Subcontractors on-site and their interfaces Ensure creation of purchase requisitions and cost compliance Align logistics plan with execution phase planning Record missing parts and replacement POs in ERP Ensure timely execution of reverse logistics Monitor, control, and validate construction costs compared to budget Approve purchase requisitions and action related cost processes Manage, accept/refuse, and sign off subcontractor claims based on contract rules Communicate turbine readiness for Commissioning Coordinate Service handover process and conduct handover meeting with customer SKILLS Proficient in MS Office Suite Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and exceptionally organised Able to identify critical issues Excellent leadership skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Open to training in softwares such as SAP, BIC, Upvise, ServiceNow, Campus, NX Translator, Windchill, Team Cneter, Webinar, Quentic, CEIS EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in engineering, or B-Tech, or National Diploma in Engineering ECSA, PMI, or SACPCMP registered EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 4 years of experience as a site manager, preferably in the wind industry Proven track record of successfully carrying large-scale projects to completion Commercial contract management experience (experience with litigation and arbitration advantageous) Basic turbine installation training Safety-Walk & Talk Training R 1.3mil - R1.4mil CTC per annum Apply Now
