Eddie Stemmet Bouers (ESB) is currently seeking competent Foremen / Site Supervisors to join their team. Team Management: Ensure construction teams work together effectively to deliver quality work Monitor construction processes and provide training as needed Arrangements regarding employees' transport to sites Responsible for assigning team's daily tasks Manage discipline of employees on a daily basis Responsible for collecting all wage information (work attendance, hours worked, absence, overtime, leave etc.) and passing it on to relevant parties in a timely manner Compliance with projects: Responsible for quality and sufficient quantity of construction work Take orders for building supplies to prevent shortages and downtime Reading construction plans and planning of project accordingly Arrange subcontractors for tasks as approved by management Management of sub-contractors on sites Health and Safety Compliance: Comply with health and safety regulations at all times Perform routine site inspections for equipment, materials and safety compliance Grade 12 Previous experience as a Construction Foreman / Site Supervisor will be beneficial Previous experience in a construction environment is essential Background in Health and Safety Driving license is essential Fluent in Afrikaans and English Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to focus and remain calm under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Detail oriented Willing to sleep out from time-to-time
