Oversee the truck arrivals over 2000 truck per month and Liaise with both the Logistics Service provider and our local South African Office Responsible for liaising and communicating with appointed Logistics Service Provider Manage all incoming and outgoing trucks Oversee the coordination and communication between the site and Head office in SA Ensure that all parties are informed of any changes or updates and that the site is operating efficiently Make sure that all communications are done on time and in an efficient manner via all communication channels available Ensure liaison between Head office and site representatives. Relay information or changes in processes to LSP representatives on site as well as the Johannesburg Office Hold weekly minuted meetings with all stake holders – Kamoa Staff, LSP Site representatives and with Johannesburg to address issues and concerns Produce weekly and monthly reports composed of issues or obstacles experienced on site with Kamoa and or LSP. Include meeting minutes from LSP site representative meetings. Resolve all queries raised team / Kamoa and or LSP site representative as soon as possible and followed up with the necessary parties until resolution Ensure that any truck not able to be registered on the day of arrival is documented with the reasons thereof, allowing office to have insight to the Kamoa arrivals and visibility to potential concerns from LSP's. Ensure all trucks already loaded are dispatched within 4 days of loading at Kamoa. Should there be delays follow up and advise management accordingly Develop and implement policies and procedures, manage budgets and resources, coordinate with other departments and ensure compliance with regulations and standards Hire and train new employees, conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members Good Excel Skills logical and sensible thinking process Enjoys being on the ground and arranging drivers and trucks Excellent communication skills Be able to speak French would be extremely advantageous Ideally a Congolese National would be a huge bonus USD3500 - USD4000 ccommodation food on site Candidate responsible for own medical aid and DRC tax
