Small Grants Manager, 15 month contract, East London - - East London

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Honors Degree in management, business administration, social science, public health or related
Proven working ability to communicate and interact with high level officials from government agencies, NGOs, international development organizations and private sector
Previous grant management industry experience ideal
Valid SA drivers license

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Strategic & operational planning designing grant programs; determining funding needs; researching funding opportunities; optimizing processes; tracking applications; liaising with risk and compliance; capacity building with grantees
Program management & coordination oversee and provide technical guidance and development of workplans; monitor expenditure; facilitate team meetings
Tracking program performance and reporting monitor performance on program indicators and targets; product reports
Networking and presentation Liaise with donors; network and build strategic alliances
HR Management induction, orientation and training as required

Salary: R603 306 per annum for the contract duration
