As a Social Media Content Strategist and Creator, your role involves creating, curating, and managing engaging content for various social media platforms to attract and retain followers, drive brand awareness, and increase engagement. Developing a content strategy: Planning and executing a content calendar that aligns with the brand's goals and target audience, including creating posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia content. Content creation: Writing compelling copy, designing visuals, and producing multimedia content that resonates with the target audience and reflects the brand's voice and values. Create high quality content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to name a few. Community management: Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms to engage with followers, address inquiries, and manage online interactions effectively. Analytics and reporting: Tracking key performance metrics, analysing data insights, and generating reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and optimize content strategies. Collaboration: Working closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to ensure content consistency, brand alignment, and campaign integration across various channels. Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Relevant coursework in social media marketing, digital media, or content creation can provide a strong foundation for this role. Other qualifications in line with responsibilities will also be considered. Experience: Prior experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is valuable. Demonstrated success in developing engaging social media content and growing online communities can set you apart as a qualified candidate. Writing and creative skills: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities are essential for crafting compelling social media content.
