Salary: 25000 Description: We are looking for a vibrant, & talented Social Media Specialist to join our client’s marketing team. As the ideal candidate, you would need to have strong proven content creation ability. You would be responsible for developing, & implementing comprehensive social media strategies to increase their online presence & improve their marketing & sales efforts. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Develop & implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness & drive engagement. Plan, curate & execute engaging content at the client’s events, pet-related and promotional activities for social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) live or pre-recorded. Strong video content creation, & excellent camera skills. Knowledgeable about multiple software tools to improve the quality of video content, for example adding special effects such as voice overs through cap cut and using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud tools etc Collaborating and working closely with cross-functional teams, to produce internal content creation (execution of content can be internally or externally as per your social media strategy) Strong social media account management Analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns & adjust strategies accordingly. Create & present a monthly report on the client, their competitors and industry activity on social media. Include insight, performance and provide recommendations. Stay up to date with social media trends & best practices Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategy Requirements: Bachelor's degree/diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is advantageous Proven work experience as a content creator including video content is essential A portfolio of work done. In-depth understanding & proficiency of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Linkedin) & their respective audiences Great writing & communication skills Knowledge of social media advertising & analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics) (advantageous) Attention to detail & ability to work independently. Canva or similar design software experience Content creation abilities through tools like Cap Cut, InDesign Please note this is an in-office position. Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
