Our Client requires an applicant who is comfortable working with C and C++ on an operating system level. A good understanding of networking and network security is a must; knowledge of cryptographic principles and applications is desirable
The successful candidates will be working in the team responsible for the trusted operating system, secure network encryptors (layer 2/3), and Public Key Infrastructure (digital certificates), using a variety of development environments and on a range of products. Server products are UNIX-based with client-side applications developed for most popular operating systems.

Qualification and skills required:
- B. Eng. Computer Engineering or B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science.
- 3-5 Year Working experience
- Good understanding of Networking and Network Security
- Skilled in C and C++ programming
- Systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Desirable if the candidate has development skills in Unix, and QT applications. (Beneficial not pre-requisite)
- MUST be a South African with SA Citizenship ( Security Clearance purposes)
- Good communication skills (verbal and writing)
- Work efficient in a team and/or individually
- Respectful and accountable
- Strive for excellence
- Good appreciation of the wider field of information security
