The ideal applicant will be in charge of leading process changes, supervising and coaching their QA testing and support staff, and guaranteeing the delivery of top-notch software products. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct a group of three QA analysts while offering direction, coaching, and assistance.
- Create and execute testing plans, approaches, and best practices to improve the process of quality assurance as a whole.
- Work together with developers, QA analysts, and product owners in cross-functional teams to make sure that development and QA activities are in sync.
- Establish and put into practice metrics to track, evaluate, and enhance the efficacy and efficiency of the support and quality assurance teams.
- Oversee the standby schedule and support function.
- Manage the support staff, making sure that concerns are resolved promptly and efficiently
- Closely collaborate with stakeholders to obtain input and apply workflow improvements for software development and support.
- Promote a cooperative and upbeat team environment that values knowledge sharing and candid communication.
Role Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a software quality assurance setting.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of understanding end users.
- Excellent SQL query abilities.
- Prior leadership experience in a similar job would be helpful.
