Software Trainer - Johannesburg

Who are we: Leaders in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software.

Who are we looking for: A talented and enthusiastic software trainer who will deliver engaging training programs, develop comprehensive training materials, and empower clients to effectively utilise the software for their GRC needs.

What you will do:

  • Be a training rockstar! Conduct informative training sessions and webinars on all aspects of Diligent One, from configuration and administration to reporting and troubleshooting
  • Craft high-quality training materials – user guides, manuals, and online resources – to support client learning and ongoing software use
  • Personalise the training experience. Tailor content and delivery methods to cater to diverse audiences, including administrators, compliance officers, risk managers and IT professionals
  • Equip users with practical skills. Facilitate hands-on exercises to ensure they can confidently navigate the software and leverage its features for optimal GRC management
  • Stay ahead of the curve. Keep up-to-date with the latest Diligent One updates, features and enhancements, incorporating this knowledge into training materials and sessions
  • Gather valuable feedback. Collect user insights about their training experience and software needs and share them with relevant teams
  • Collaborate seamlessly. Work closely with implementation teams and project managers to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to training and provide ongoing support throughout the software lifecycle

You Are:

  • A graduate with a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
  • A seasoned training professional with experience in instructional design, preferably within the GRC software domain
  • A tech-savvy individual proficient in GRC software solutions like TeamMate, BarnOwl, CaseWare Idea and familiar with other relevant tools

You also possess:

  • A strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, allowing you to connect with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A passion for technology and a solution-oriented approach focused on client success
  • A customer-centric mindset and a desire to exceed expectations by delivering exceptional training and value
  • The ability to effectively transfer knowledge and conduct personalised one-on-one sessions
  • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing client needs, evolving software features and a dynamic organisational environment
  • Strong professional communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively
