As a Somatologist, you'll have the opportunity to create personalized treatment plans for clients, incorporating various therapies such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and skincare. Your expertise and knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and alternative therapies will enable you to tailor treatments to address specific health concerns and promote overall well-being. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' health and wellness needs. Create personalized treatment plans, combining therapeutic techniques and natural remedies. Perform therapeutic treatments, such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, and skincare. Provide guidance and education to clients on lifestyle changes and self-care practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes. Stay informed about new developments in somatology and wellness practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients. Promote and market somatology services to attract new clients. Comply with all health and safety regulations and professional standards. Requirements Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Somatology or related field. Proven experience as a Somatologist or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and alternative therapies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create personalized treatment plans based on client needs. Adept at performing therapeutic treatments, such as massage and skincare. Passion for holistic wellness and dedication to helping others. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends, as required.
