Job Title: SPECIALIST SERVICE DELIVERY: KHUTALA COLLIERY (SAEC) – INTERNAL / EXTERNAL Location: eMalahleni / Witbank, Mpumalanga, South Africa Reference : CEN-IT-051 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Job Summary: The purpose of this role is to act as the primary interface between the operation / site and IT. This role owns the service relationship regarding the operation / site and IT expectations for service and governance. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Managing IT services and operations; Responsible for infrastructure management and end user computing support; The accountabilities for the Service Delivery Specialist include but are not limited to: Ensure environmental compliance for computer rooms; Ensure controlled access to computer rooms; Ensure acquisition, implementation and upgrade of operational infrastructure in line with agreed standards and requirements; In terms of infrastructure support, the role will be responsible for the following aspects, namely: Documenting and maintaining Infrastructure configuration; Managing infrastructure change control; Implementing and managing 3rd Party Vendor Support for Mine Infrastructure; Delivering operational Infrastructure support; Managing incidents and service requests; Performing problem management; Performing Root Cause Analysis; Customer Management (Manage business & customer relationships): Responsible for adhering to Coal IT customer engagements, change and communications strategies and plans; Managing business relationships and accounts by acting as the main Service Delivery point of contact; Managing IT Governance, Risk & Compliance for Service Management and Infrastructure; Managing IT security, IT quality and IT HSEC activities; Responsible for optimizing Asset Operational IT Service Delivery contracts with 3rd parties. REQUIREMENTS: Serious contenders will have a Degree / National Diploma in IT or related IT certification/s relevant for this role with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in infrastructure and at least 1 year in a supervisory role; In-depth knowledge of infrastructure stream is essential; Knowledge of service methodologies, delivery and integration processes and procedures in an out-sourcing environment is essential; Experience in Mining and / or Manufacturing industries is essential; In depth understanding of the nature of opportunities and issues faced by operations is essential.
