REMUNERATION (USD$): $6 per hour. $240 - $715 per month - It all depends on the schedule you choose. POSITION DETAILS Start Date : Immediate Teaching Hours : Peak hours: Monday-Sunday, 12 PM to 4 PM SAST Minimum 40 peak hours required per month Hours are not guaranteed Students : Teaching kids and adults based in Asia Contract type: You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider Location : Work from the convenience of your home Requirements Tertiary qualification Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA Computer literate No criminal record 2 years of online English teaching experience required TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) PC specifications: Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU 2 GHz (4 CPUs) or greater Memory: 8GB RAM or greater Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur. A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera . Back-up headset is highly recommended Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment While a completed TEFL certification is essential for your application, if you don't have one yet, there's no need to worry.
