REMUNERATION (USD$): $6 per hour. $285 - $715 per month - It all depends on the schedule you choose. POSITION DETAILS Start Date: Immediately upon the completion of the recruitment process. Teaching Hours: Mon- Fri 12:30 - 15:30 SAST (afternoon shifts only). Weekend blocks: 2h30-6h30, 07h30-09h30, 12h30-15h30 SAST. Set rotation, set off days. From February 2024 - additional classes are available from 07h30-16h30 (Mon-Fri) and 02h30-16h30 (Weekends) SAST. You get paid for the hours that you teach. Approximately 30 hours per week depending on your chosen shift schedule. Students: Teaching kids and adults based in Asia. Contract type: You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider. Location: Work from the convenience of your home. Requirements Completed Bachelor's degree. Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL certification or equivalent. Experience teaching children is advantageous. Computer literate. No criminal record. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) PC specifications: Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU 2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater. Memory: 8GB RAM or greater. Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur. A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds. PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection. Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera: Backup headset is highly recommended. Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment. $6 per hour
