Reference: HC002876-Moipo-1Position: IT Server AdministratorMain Purpose: As an IT Server Administrator, you'll oversee Azure Cloud, Microsoft on-premises, and VMWare Server infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.Main Outputs and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will possess expertise and proficiency in the following: Proficiency in VMWare 7, Microsoft Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, and Azure cloud environments to recommend and apply suitable toolsets aligned with business needs. Designing, provisioning, installing/configuring, operating, and maintaining systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Installation and configuration of new or rebuilt servers, including hardware, peripherals, services, settings, and storage. Designing and supporting user-friendly systems for end-user access. Conducting daily backup operations and ensuring successful backups of required file systems and system data. Providing support for production systems, optimizing performance, resolving issues, and ensuring prompt resolution of reported problems and incidents. Recovery and repair from software or hardware failures. Coordinating and communicating effectively with affected stakeholders. Resolution of customer issues, including complex technical scenarios. Establishing and monitoring performance standards. Creating and managing system documentation. Implementing IT policies, standards, practices, and security measures for effective information processing and safeguarding information resources. Working with existing systems to manage requests and issues effectively. Familiarity and experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Security, IIS Administration, and networking tools. Proficiency in scripting tools such as XML and PowerShell. Experience with MS SQL Server, including performance tuning, server clustering, data reconciliation, and migration across environments. Experience with virtualized storage (e.g., Dell, HP, Pure, Microsoft), ISCSI, Fiber channel SAN, and Azure cloud and Office 365 deployments.
