OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: As a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Microsoft SQL Server databases for the company. One of your goals will be to ensure the performance, availability, and security of the SQL databases. You will work closely with the infrastructure teams to design, implement, and optimize database solutions that meet the organization's needs. Additionally, you will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve any database-related issues to ensure smooth operations. FORMAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Matric MCSDBA (old school SQL or equivalent) ADVANTAGEOUS Diploma Data metrix or equivalent JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED A thorough knowledge of the operation of all applications and systems is of utmost importance to maintain this integration integrity and problem solving.
