Stock Allocator - Cape Town Region

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Stock Allocator (4-Month Fixed Term Contract) with a possibility of going permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing the allocation of stock and inventory within our warehouse. They will play a key role in ensuring that stock levels are maintained, inventory is managed effectively, and customer demands are met efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is properly maintained to meet the demands of customers and internal stakeholders Allocate stock to different departments, areas, or customers based on demand and priority Reconcile inventory levels with actual stock on hand to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies Manage the transfer of stock between different locations, departments, or customers, ensuring that stock is moved efficiently and effectively Implement and maintain stock control policies and procedures Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, sales, and operations to ensure that stock levels are maintained and that stock allocation is carried out effectively Maintain accurate records of stock levels, stock movements, and stock allocation to ensure effective inventory management Requirements: Matric Certificate equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred 2 years of experience in a stock allocation or inventory management role Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and inventory management software Knowledge of warehouse management systems and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in stock allocation and inventory management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
