Introduction A manufacturer of tissue and hygiene products, who also sells through retail and business to business channels in South Africa and neighbouring countries, is looking for a highly capable Stores Clerk to join its Factory Supply Chain Department. Description Job description/responsibilities: Check and receive deliveries. Check all materials/stock corresponds with the purchase order. Goods to be stored in appropriate location. All goods/materials to be received in and issued out to relevant areas. Run daily BOM/ trial kitting and issued correct materials to the machines. Running daily cycle count (Cores and the glue) Ensure excellent housekeeping daily. Separating good stock from damaged and rejected Stock. Correct transfers to machine in WMS Daily reconciling stock physical and system Monitoring and scanning trucks. Arranging and sending cores to Stellar tissue Supervising raw materials and casual Daily update/count of gas to Solgas company Collect and sign off delivery notes. Assist in receiving wadding. Correct receipts - scan reels, bin transfer receipts and Jumbo invoices Print proof of receipts from WMS and attach with delivery notes. Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Skills: Preferably 2 years working experience in a FMCG manufacturing and materials management environment. Must have a Forklift license. Computer literacy on MICROSOFT office. Self-confident, initiative and good interpersonal skills Good administration skills ERP system knowledge, preferably SYSPRO Ability to adhere to procedures and controls and to set these controls. Self-confident, problem solving and trouble shooting ability as far as system. Self-disciplined and motivated Physically fit and able to perform physical lifting as required ad hoc. Safe work process adherence ERP system procedures and adherence thereto
