Strategic Change Manager - - Johannesburg

Purpose of the role:

Senior Strategic Change Manager for a role in the People and Culture Strategy Enabled area.Â
The resource is required to work strategically as well as be competent and comfortable in operational implementations.
A key capability requirement will be taking a diverse group of people along on the journey.Â

Responsibilities:Â

Strategising, developing, and implementing change management strategies/plans to support the organisational objectives for programmes/projects/initiatives initiated in People and culture with the execution leg positioned across the business. Some of these projects include but are not limited to:
- Technology transition
- Strategic talent management
- Leadership culture
Leading and facilitating change initiatives, ensuring alignment with group goals,Â and the culture of the organisation.
Assessing risks and potential obstacles to change and developing mitigation plans. Highlighting the risks to the sponsor and leadership team
Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to communicate changes effectively and garner support.
- Building a strong relationship with communication teams/vendors to facilitate delivery of communication material
- Building a strong relationship with learning development team and marketing communication team.
- Coping with a high-pressure environment - resilience
Analysing the impact of change on various aspects of the organisation, such as processes, systems, and people. Connecting the dots and highlighting these to the appropriate forums.
Providing coaching and support to leaders and employees to navigate through change.
Monitoring progress and evaluating the effectiveness of change initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.
Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in change management
