Phakisa Holdings is currently seekig a Supervisor for Worcester (Boland) within the HR Industry. BRIEF SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that recruitment and daily operation and management of staff on site is performed per customer and company requirements Key result areas will include: Recruit casual labour as and when required. Ensure employment contracts for all employees in place, with relevant documents. Ensure all staff who are scheduled to undergo medical examination and annual medical renewals per rules of site and client instruction. Conduct disciplinary hearings fairly, consistently, and as per the Phakisa and Client Disciplinary Process / Code and site SOP and ensure accurate record keeping of all proceedings. Ensure that a Permission to Recruit / Labour Requisition document is received and on hand for all labour requested so that invoicing can be finalized – per site workflow document. Ensure that all timesheets (approved by client) are correct and submitted timeously per site workflow document. Ensure that all compliance focal points are adhered to. Inspect PPE store (daily) to ensure quality and quantity correct per requirements – keep documented proof of this. Ensure that the PPE issue register is maintained correctly. Keep office neat and orderly. Maintain professional levels and services. Key qualifications / requirements Computer literacy on MS Office (competent at least on Word and Excel and Outlook) A minimum of 1 years experience within the TES environment Knowledge of Food Manufacturing environment would be advantageous Administration skills and strong attention to details Basic knowledge of BCEA, LRA and OHSCAT would be advantageous.
