Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Atlassian Suite Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for their Atlassian Suite, specifically Jira and Confluence, ensuring the optimal functioning and efficiency of these critical platforms within their organization. Key Responsibilities: Atlassian Suite Administration: Administer, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence instances to meet the organization's needs. Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Atlassian Suite. Implement best practices for configuration management and version control. Technical Support: Provide day-to-day support for Jira and Confluence users, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with end-users to understand their requirements and offer guidance on best practices for utilizing Atlassian products. Conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency and adoption. Customization and Integration: Develop and maintain custom workflows, schemes, and templates as required by different teams. Integrate Atlassian Suite with other tools and systems used within the organization. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular health checks, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement optimizations. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Atlassian Suite configurations, processes, and best practices. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data within the Atlassian Suite. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in administrating and supporting Atlassian Suite products (Jira and Confluence). Strong understanding of workflows, custom schemes, and permissions in Jira. Experience with scripting languages for automation within Atlassian Suite is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Certification in Atlassian products is highly desirable.
