A. Position SUPPORT ANALYST B. Main Job Purpose To test software, perform system data analysis and provide system support. D. Key Competencies •Excellent writing, documenting and communication Skills in English •Excellent computer literacy skills •Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills •Interpersonal relationship skills •Good understanding of databases •Good knowledge of MS Windows/Servers and the MS Office products •Backup and recovery principles •Knowledge of programming concepts and techniques •Report writing and presentation skills •Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy •Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining and segmentation techniques •Excellent data analysis skills •SCRUM knowledge and experience advantageous H. Main Duties and Responsibilities •Monitoring of systems for pro-active system support •Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements •Test and analyse software applications/programs (propriety/third party) •System support and troubleshoot/problem resolution •Consult and coordinate with on-site technical resources to resolve issues and problems Education and Experience School : Grade 12 Post School : Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Management Technical Expertise : MS SQL MS Office Experience : Minimum 5 years Other : Valid Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s License R20 000 - R25 000 p/m
