Tax Administrator, Northern Suburbs, Cape Town - - Cape Town City Centre

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with a related professional qualification; membership of an accounting / tax body preferred
2+ years experience in tax practice and accounting role
Valid drivers and experience with Great Soft software ideal
Preference to candidates residing in the Northern Suburbs Durbanville, Kraaifontein surrounds
Must be fluent in English & Afrikaans

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Complete full spectrum of Tax Returns
File provisional IT returns and ensure all clients are tax compliant
Handle reconciliations & additional returns / queries
Compile NOO and NOA and responses for tax audits
Obtain Tax Clearance Certificates including foreign investments
Offer tax advice to clients and process waiver of interest / penalty applications
Assist with tax compromises & deferments
Negotiate / arrange payment plans with SARS
Maintain internal controls and provide tax insights for AFS
Participate in CPD training in tax / related fields
Optionally present tax training sessions to clients

Salary: R23 000.00 R26 000.00 per month dependent on experience
