Summary of Position:Latita Africa is seeking an admitted attorney for a distinct opportunity to establish themselves in the corporate realm, specifically within tax law, to pursue a successful career focused on Tax Debt Compromises, Dispute Resolution, and other sensitive SARS engagements.The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, determined, and have the ability to navigate a steep learning curve within a dynamic consulting firm. This client-facing position requires an individual who embodies the characteristics of agility, resilience, resourcefulness, and flexibility, coupled with a proactive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.While prior experience in tax law is not mandatory, you must be prepared to invest the time necessary to continually master the subject matter and evolve into proficient tax attorney. The preferred candidate should exhibit sharp skill in legal opinion drafting, possess a capacity for in-depth research on technical matters, and be able to negotiate on complex and multi-faceted issues. Additionally, having a high degree of attention to detail and insight with strong analytical and communication skills is crucial for success in this role.Qualifications & Skills Required:- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) (mandatory);- Master of Law, with an emphasis on Tax (advantageous); and- Proficiency in business (verbal and written).
