Our client a JSE listed company in Claremont Cape Town is looking for a Tax Specialist CA(SA) 7-10 years plus experience specializing in Tax coming from a JSE listed company. SAP Experience is essential.

Min Requirements
Qualified CA(SA) is essential
4-5 years post CA(SA) article experience is required
7-10 years experience as a TAX Specialist
Experienced from a JSE listed company and reporting structure
Global Reporting structure experience
Extensive experience and a solid understanding of large and complicated Tax
Extensive experience in SARS E-Filing
SAP experience essential
Experience working with Shared Services (advantageous)
Responsibilities
Management of the delivery of the tax compliance obligations Income tax compliance and tax returns
Provide critical support for the delivery of tax compliance activities in the region, manage tax operations
Delivery of Group Tax’s activities involving collaboration and input with global teams
Coordinate the preparation and filing of any local transfer pricing obligations
Support engaging with auditors on tax accounting calculations and tax reporting positions.
Manage the implementation of tax automation opportunities
Support globally run tax technology projects
Conduct a thorough review of tax processes and controls to mitigate risks
Tax planning and tax risk mitigation
Risk Management and Reporting
Full tax reporting
Controlled foreign companies and IT10B returns.
Mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations.
Foreign tax credits, withholding taxes and double tax agreements.
Employment tax regimes
