To qualify for this position, you need: Diploma /Bachelor's/ N6 Professional Tax Technician (SA) SARS Tax Practitioner Knowledge of SARS eFiling and Microsoft Excel Basic accounting knowledge Bilingual in English / Afrikaans Attention to detail Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong analytical and numerical skills Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar position Duties and responsibilities include: Provide support to clients in respect of SARS and E-filing issues Liaising with clients as required Submission of Trust, Individual and Company Income Tax Returns Review of Assessments Resolving errors on Returns Dealing with Refund matters (Queries) New profiles Managing Tax Return queries with SARS Attending meetings with SARS Dividends Tax Returns Provisional Tax Calculations & Submissions Donations Tax clearance certificates & Foreign Investment Tax Clearance VAT registration PAYE registrations Tax Directives Ceasing of Residency Process Request for suspension of payments/appeals Management of complaints and Appeals Tax compliance with SARS and payment process Handle mail, calls, and appointments with SARS Agents
