KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OUTPUT 1: INVESTIGATIONS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT Strategise, plan, and conduct various concurrent small- and large-scale investigations projects. Investigate and oversee allegations of fraud, maladministration, and corruption in accordance with project scopes and in line with OUTA’s mandate. Liaise and engage with various role players always maintaining absolute confidentiality. Ensure that the identity of whistle blowers and the information they provide are effectively. protected. Analyse relevant data and review evidence gathered. Provide expert input into investigations. conducted by self and the team. Keep abreast of latest information and techniques specific to the investigative field. Management of the Whistleblower, Project, and information platforms. OUTPUT 2: REPORTING Comply with proper information systems for reporting and recording of projects including the project management system, ProofHub. Compilation of data and evidence gathered into comprehensive and concise reports. Factual report writing, ensuring integrity and relevance. Prepare high-level compilations of various timelines and project updates. Compiling monthly and quarterly reports for the department. Give presentations and conduct media interviews on the Organisation’s behalf on projects within the department. OUTPUT 3: MANAGEMENT OF THE ANTI-CORRUPTION DEPARTMENT Annual review of the company Whistle Blower- and Investigations’ Policies and Procedures. Responsibility for the integrity and relevance of the information submitted by the team. Training, growth, development, and overall wellness of team. Provide regular feedback and input to the Executive Director of Accountability as to team issues, growth requirements and disciplinary issues. Providing support, guidance, and effective management of the team. Conduct regular performance management reviews of the team reporting into the position, in line with organisational policies and procedures. 4. POSITION INPUTS Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience within the investigations sector. Bachelor’s qualification in a related or legal field Certified Fraud Examiner advantageous Proven management of teams Proven track record in Investigations Project Management Investigative background and/or qualifications associated with government. supply chain and procurement management advantageous. Knowledge: Working knowledge of legal terminology Detailed knowledge of Public Finance and Supply chain management advantageous Detailed knowledge of Whistle blowing, whistle blowing management and related Acts with special emphasis on the company and its role as per the Protected Disclosures Act, policies, and best practices. Proficient in various software packages e.g., Microsoft Office, ProofHub etc. Keen interest in current affairs General working knowledge regarding Public Administration. Skills: Strength in investigative methodology Factual report writing Excellent communication ability, both written and oral Analytical and research capabilities Behaviours: Organised and strategic thinker Lateral thinker Goal orientated.
