Oversee the bridge team, managing the design process for projects, allocating resources for projects, and ensuring adherence to project budgets. This role involves designing bridges and related road structural elements, demonstrating the ability to work independently with efficient time management, and leading a design team under pressure Additionally, the candidate is expected to assist in preparing proposals, engage in technical report writing, conduct feasibility studies as required by Project Managers, and exhibit entrepreneurial qualities with a high level of business acumen Skills & Experience: Applicant should possess 12 years or more of experience in Bridge Design, along with a thorough understanding of Finite Element Design Software like Sofistik, Prokon, AutoCAD, and RevitThe role involves preparing Contract Documentation, specifications, and schedules of quantitiesFamiliarity with SANRAL processes is advantageous, and additional experience in bridge hydrology, hydraulics, and design of feature bridges is also beneficial Qualification:BSc (Civil Engineering), or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA) registrationRegistered Bridge Inspector will be an advantage Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
