Reference: JHB000028-VMC-1We require a Team Leader with experience in the repair, panel beating and assembly of heavy commercial vehicles on behalf of OEMs and clients (trucks and/or busses) to be based at our reputable client on the East Rand. We are looking for hard-working, dedicated professional to join and grow with this dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Promote high quality standards. Ensure adherence to job cards. Adhere to strict deadlines by allocating staff resources efficiently. Identify and report unseen damages. Identify possible delays and report to management. Sign for parts received from stores. Safekeeping of new and replacement parts. Clear communication with buyers and estimators. Daily progress updates to Workshop Foreman. Train new team members. Manage repair process and timeframes on multiple jobs simultaneously. Strip and assembly of parts. Housekeeping. Adhere to standard operating procedures. Promote a safe and health work environment for all staff. Overtime required occasionally. Ad-hoc / general duties in the workshop. Good timekeeping habits for yourself and your team. Qualifications and Skills: Must have previous experience in a similar role. Planning. Efficient management of staff. Mechanical background beneficial. Sober habits. Presentable. Clear criminal record. Grade 12 or N3. Code 14 driver’s license. Valid PrDP license. Own transport required. Hardworking. Ability to work without supervision. Communicate well on all levels.
