We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our client as a Debt Review Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Administration department, overseeing all back-office operations end-to-end processes, and ensuring that all team outcomes are met in line with our policies and best practices while providing support on administrative duties. Purpose: As a Debt Review Team Leader, you will play a key role in our team, providing oversight on the service delivery to our clients. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with both clients and members of the team. Proactively assist in completing general admin duties as directed/requested. Provide support to the Operations team, responding accurately and timeously to requests for information. Liaise with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues. Attend and conduct team meetings/process training sessions. Remain aware and knowledgeable of any policy changes or changes affecting our environment or current role. Perform any other duties and special projects directed by Management. Knowledge of: Credit Risk Management Retail or Banking Credit Industry National Credit Act (NCA) Debt Counselling/Mediation/Rehabilitation processes Debt Collection Basic understanding of budgeting and accounting principles Skills: Previous debt review experience and managing an Admin/Debt Review team. Previous customer service experience. Experience working in a regulated environment. Intermediate to Advanced Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). Positive attitude and the ability to influence and motivate others. Flexible with the ability to adapt to rapid change. Self-Motivated. Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills. High Attention to detail. Numerical Reasoning skills. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of experience in a Debt Review credit collections/banking environment. 2 years of experience managing a team.
